Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN:-

=>Ratio of length to breadth is 3 : 2.

=> Perimeter of rectangle is 100m.

TO FIND:-

=>The area of the rectangle.

UNDERSTANDING THE CONCEPT:-

According to the question,

=>Let x be the length, then the dimensions of the rectangle will be, length = 3x/5, breadth = 2x/5 in the ratio 3:2.

=>Then perimeter is 2(L+B) = 100 cm.

\huge\tt\fbox\purple{Answer:}

=>2[(3x/5) + (2x/5)] = 100,

=>(3x/5)+(2x/5) = 50,

=>3x + 2x = 250,

=>5x = 250, x = 50.

Length => 3x/5 = 150/5 = 30,

Breadth => 2x/5 = 100/5 = 20.

Area of rectangle => 30× 20 = 600 cm^2.

Therefore, The area of rectangle is 600cm^2.
