The length of the rectangle is 4

2 + 5 − 3 cm and breadth is 2

2 + 4 − 1 . Find the

perimeter and area of the rectangle​

Given:

  • Length of the rectangle = 42 + 5 – 3 cm = 44cm
  • Breadth of the rectangle = 22 + 4 – 1 cm = 25cm

To find:

  • Perimeter
  • Area

Solution :

perimeter \: of \: a \: rectangle \:  =  \: 2(l + b)

= 2 ( 44 + 25 )

= 2 ( 69 )

= 138 cm

area \: of \: a \: rectangle \:  = length \:  \times  \: breadth

= 44 x 25

= 1100 cm²

>> Perimeter = 138cm

Area = 1100cm²
