Length =2( x+ 5 )

Area of new rectangle = L×B

70= 3x(2x+10)

70= 6x²+60x

0= 6x²+60x-70

0= 3x²+30x-35

a=3 b=30 c=-35

x = (-b+√b²-4ac)/2a

= (-30+√900+420)/2a

= (-30+√1320)/6

= (-30+36.331)/6

= 37.990 cm

or x = (-30-36.331)/6 ( is not valid)

another side is x+5= 37.990+5 = 42.991 cm
