the length of the rectangle is 5cm greater then it's breadth. if the length is doubled and breadth is trebled then the area of new rectangle is increased by the area of original rectangle is 70cm^2 . find the length and breadth of rectangle. also check the solution. ​

Answer:

Let the breadth of the rectangle be xcm

Then it's length=x+5cm

Perimeter=2(length+breadth)

⇒70=2(x+(x+5))

⇒270=2x+5

⇒2x+5=35

⇒2x=35−5=30

⇒x=230=15cm

Breadth=x=15cm and length=x+5=15+5=20cm
