Let's assume the breadth as x m

So, the length as (3x - 6) m

We know,

Perimeter of Rectangle

= 2(length + breadth)

According to Question,

Perimeter of Rectangle = 148 m

2(3x - 6 + x) = 148

⇒ 4x - 6 = 148 / 2

⇒ 4x - 6 = 74

⇒ 4x = 74 + 6

⇒ 4x = 80

⇒ x = 80 / 4

⇒ x = 20

Required Measurements -

Breadth = x = 20 m

Length = 3x - 6 = 3(20) - 6 = 60 - 6 = 54 m

Hence, the length and breadth of the rectangle are 54 meters and 20 meters respectively

let the breath of rectangle be x

then lenght.is 3x-6

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

2(x+3x-6)=148m

8x=160

x=160/8

x=20m

and length =3*20-6

54

length =54m

hope it help you
