Let the width be x.
Then, length is 4x.

According to the question,

[Perimeter = 2×(length + width)]

2 ( 4x + x) = 100
or, 5x = 50
or, x = 10
or, 4x = 40

So, the length is 40 m.

Breadth(width) = x
Length= 4x
Perimeter = 100m
=2(l+b) = 100
=2(4x +x )= 100
= 5x = 100/2
= x = 50/5
= x = 10m
Breadth= 10m
Length= 40m
