 \large\mathfrak \pink{Solution:-}

 \underline \mathbb{GIVEN:-}

➙Length is 3 metres more than its width.

➙Perimeter = 26 metres.

 \underline \mathbb{TO  \: FIND:-}

Length and width or breadth of the rectangular garden.

  \underline \mathbb{FORMULA:-}

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 (length + breadth)

  \underline \mathbb{ASSUMPTION:-}

Let, the width be x metres

and the length be x + 3 metres

 \underline \mathbb{BY  \: THE  \: PROBLEM:-}

2 (length + breadth) = Perimeter \\  \\  \implies \:  2(x + x + 3) = 26\\  \\  \implies \:2 \times (2x + 3) = 26\\  \\  \implies \:4x + 6 = 26\\  \\  \implies \:4x = 26 - 6\\  \\  \implies \:4x = 20 \\ \\   \implies \:x =   \cancel\frac{20}{4} \\  \\  \implies \:x = 5

\underline \mathbb{ANSWER:-}

Width = x = 5 metres

Length = x + 3 = 5 + 3 = 8 metres.

\underline \mathbb{EXTRA\: INFORMATION:-}

Diagonal \:  of  \: a  \: rectangle =  \sqrt{(length) {}^{2} + (breadth ){}^{2}  }  \\

Area \:  of \:  a  \: rectangle = Length  \times  breadth \\
