here length is 20 m and breadth is 58 m

explanation

let breadth= x m

length = 3x-2 m

156 = 2(3x-2+x)

78= 4x-2

80= 4x

20= x

breadth = 20 m

length= 3×20-2= 60-2=58

Given,

P = 156 m

b = x

l = 3x - 2

atq,

156m = 2(3x - 2 + x)

156m = 2(4x-2)

156m = 8x - 4

160m = 8x

20m = x

Hence, b = 20m, l = 60m - 2 = 58m

Hope that helps!
