The length of the rectangular plot is 6meter less than its width. Find the length and the breath of the rectangular plot if it's perimeter is 148meter.

SO THE LENGTH IS 6 METER LESS THAN WIDTH = X-6 METER

PERIMETER OF RECTANGLE = 2 × (SUM OF BOTH SIDES)

                                                 =2×(LENGTH +BREADTH)

148 =2 ×(X +X-6)

148=2×(2X-6)

148/2=2X-6

74=2X-6

74+6=2X

80=2X

80/2=X

X=40M

SO , THE BREADTH OR WIDTH = 40 M

LENGTH = X-6=36 M
