tip of second hand of a clock forms a circle in a minute.

so perimeter of circle formed = 2×(22/7)×4 cm= 176/7 cm

time taken = 60 seconds

speed of tip of second hand= distance(perimeter) ÷ time taken

= 176/7 ÷60 =176/420 = 0.419 cm/ sec

Answer:

0.42cm/s

Step-by-step explanation:

circumference =2πr

=2 × 22/7 ×4

=25.1cm

time taken to complete one round =60s

distance = speed×time

s = 25.1  / 60

  =0.419

  ≈0.42cm/s
