Answer:

✪ Given :-

  • The length of the shadow of a tower is 9 m and the angle of elevation is 30°.

To Find :-

  • What is the height of the tower ?

✪ Solution :-

Let, AB is the height of the tower.

➙ tan30° = \dfrac{AB}{BC}

\dfrac{1}{√3} = \dfrac{AB}{9}

⇒ AB = \dfrac{9}{√3}

⇒AB = \dfrac{√3 × √3 × 3}{√3}

➠ AB = 3\sqrt{3} m

\therefore The height of the tower is \sf\boxed{\bold{\large{3\sqrt{3}}}}
