Length of the side of the square = 50 cm

Area = s² = 2500 cm²

Breadth of the rectangle = 25 cm

Let its length be x

Area = l*b

        = l*25

Given, area of square and rectangle are equal

∴ l*25 = 2500

⇒ l = 2500/25

∴ Length of the rectangle = 100 cm

Area of square = side^2

= (50)^2 cm^2

= 2500 cm^2

Let's assume the length as x cm

According to Question,

Area of square = Area of rectangle

side^2 = length × breadth

2500 = x × 25

=> 2500 / 25 = x

=> 100 = x

Hence, the length of the given rectangle is 100 cm
