The length of the sides of a triangle are in the ratio 3:4:5 and its perimeter is 60 cm. Find its area

3x+4x+5x = 60
12x = 60
x= 60/12
x = 5

perimeter of the triangle = 60cm

ratio of sides of the triangle = 3:4:5

length of the first side = 3/12×60

= 15cm

length of the second side=4/12×60

=20cm

length of the third side =5/12×60 =25 cm

area of the triangle = l×b×h

=15×20×25 = 7500
