Now side = 2 x  cm.

So          volume = (side)³ = ( 2 x  cm)³ = 8 x³  cm³.



Ratio = Original : New

                = x³ cm³ : 8 x³ cm³ = 1 : 8.

A/Q
Length of side =2s
We know
Volume of cube =(side)3
Volume of cube = (2s)3
=2s×2s×2s
=8s3
So the Volume of cube will increase 8 Times when length of side is twice.
