1.Given sides are 15cm,20cm,25cm

Square of the longest side = (25) ^2 =625 cm ^2 .

Sum of the squares of other two sides = (15) ^2 + (20) ^2

= 225 + 400 = 625 cm^2  .

Since, the square of the longest side in a triangle is equal to

the sum of the squares of other two sides

∴ The given sides form a right triangle

2.Given sides are 9cm,12cm,16cm

Square of the longest side = (16)^2=256^2

Sum of the squares of other two sides =(9)^2+(12)^2=81+144=225^2

Since, the square of the longest side in a triangle is not equal to

the sum of the squares of other two sides

∴ The given sides not form a right triangle
