It is given that a wire is bent to form a square.

So, the length is the perimeter here, which means that if the wire is bent to form any shape, then the perimeter will always be the same.

So, length of the wire=1.76 m

Now it is in the form of a square.

So, its perimeter=1.76 m

Now, ATQ:-

It is bent to form a circle.

So, length of wire is the perimeter/circumference of the circle.

So, 2πr=1.76

2×22/7×r=1.76

44/7×r=1.76

r=1.76×7/44

r=0.28

So, now radius=0.28 m

So, area of the circle=πr²

=22/7×0.28²

=22/7×49/625

=154/625 m²

=0.2464 m²

So, the area of the circle formed=0.2464 m²
