96cm²

Given :-

• Length of a triangle are 20cm, 16cm and 12cm.

To Find :-

• Area of the traingle

\large{\boxed{\bf{Solution}}}

• a = 20

• b = 16

• c = 12

Semi - perimeter ( S ) :-

 \frac{a + b + c}{2}

 =  >  \frac{20 + 16 + 12}{2}

 =  >  \frac{48}{2}

 =  > 24

Area of the triangle :-

 \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

 =  >  \sqrt{24(24 - 20)(24 - 16)(24 - 12}

 =  >  \sqrt{24 \times 4 \times 8 \times 12}

 =  >   \sqrt{9216}

 =  >  \sqrt{96 \times 96}

 =  > 96

Hence, area of the traingle is 96cm².
