Let the breadth of the rectangle be x. So, the length of the will be x + 7.

Perimeter of the rectangle = 34cm.

P = 2(l+b)

34 = 2(x+7+x)

34=2(2x+7)

34=4x+14

34-14=4x

20=4x

x=20/4

x=5

Breadth of the rectangle = 5cm.

Length of the rectangle = x + 7 = 5 + 7 = 12cm.
