✨you can solve this question by cosine formula.

⏩I solve this question by simply taking cases ,you can also solve it by cosine formula.

♣️solution♣️

in this case , third may be greater and lesser than other two sides. let the third side be X

case1:

let the third side be larger side,so.

sum of two smallest side > largest side

4+6> X

X < 10

case 2

let the third side

is the smallest side which is X .

then 6 ,is the largest side .

sum of two smallest side > largest side

then ,

x+ 4> 6

then ,

X> 2

hence ,third side could be any length between 2 and 10

So the third side should be between 2.1 cm and 9.9 cm, and if only integers are considered then the third side should be anywhere between 3 cm and 9 cm.
