Given :-

The lengths of diagonals of a rhombus are 24 cm and 18 cm respectively

To Find :-

Length of each side

Solution :-

Let the rhombus be ABCD and O be centre

Now

AO = CO (Diagonal bisect each other)

AO = 24/2 = 12 cm

Now

OB = OD (Diagonal bisect each other)

OB = 18/2 = 9 cm

By using pythagoras theorem

AD² = AO² + OB²

AD² = (12)² + (9)²

AD² = 144 + 81

AD² = 225

AD = √225

AD = 15 cm

Therefore

Length of one side is 15 cm
