Solution -

Let one || side be 4x meters

So, the another || side be 7x meters

According to Question,

[ ∵ Area of trap. = 1/2 × (sum of || sides) × height ]

Area of trapezium = 385 m²

1/2 × (4x + 7x) × 14 = 385

11x = 385 × 2/14 = 385/7

11x = 55

x = 55/11

x = 5

Measurements -

One || side = 4x = 4(5) = 20 m

Another || side = 7x = 7(5) = 35 m

∴ The parallel sides are 20 m and 35 m
