the lengths of the parallel sides of trapezium are 7.5cm & 4.5cm.If the perpendicular distance between them is 3cm.Find its area.​

given height = 3 cm,

let the parallel sides of trapezium be = a and b

area of trapezium = 1/2 x h(a+b)

= 1/2x h (7.5+4.5)

= 1/2 x 3 x 12

= 18 cm sq.
