answer :-

area of trapezium :- 1/2 × sum of parellal side × height

 \frac{1}{2}  \times (a + b) \times h = 4(a {}^{2}  - b {}^{2})

h =  \frac{8(a + b)(a - b)}{(a + b)}

h = 8(a - b)

so, height is 8 (a - b)
