3x+4x+5x=144
12x=144
x=12
since 3,4&5 is a Pythagorean triplet so the given triangle is rightangled triangle
so area =½×length×breadth
=½×36×48
=18×48
=864cm²

Perimeter = 3x +4x +5x=  12x = 144
so, x= 12 and the sides are 36cm, 48cm and 60cm
By Heron's formula,
area= sqrt[s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)]
s= semi-perimeter= 72cm
Area= sqrt [ 72 X 36 X 24 X 12] = sqrt [ 36 X 2 X 36 X12 X 2 X 12]
=36 X 24 = 864
