Given : The lengths of the two diagonals of a rhombus are16cm and 14cm.,

To Find : the length of each side of the rhombus

Solution:

Diagonals of  a rhombus  bisect each other perpendicularly

16/2 = 8 cm

14/2 =  7 cm

Using Pythagorean theorem :

Side of rhombus  = √8² + 7²

= √64 + 49

= √113  cm

= 10.63  cm

the length of each side of the rhombus is √113  cm
