The lengths of two sides of a triangle are 5 cm and 11 cm. Between what two measures should the length of the third side fall​

It is known that the sum of the two sides of a triangle is greater than the third side, so,

third side  <5+7

third side < 12

And,

third side > 7− 5

third side > 2

Therefore, 2 < third side < 12.

Hence, the third side of the triangle falls between (2,12).
