In rectangle : (diagonal)² = (length)² + (breadth)²

                          15² = L² + 9²

                         225 = L² + 81

                  225 - 81  = L²

                          144  = L²

                         $\sqrt{144}$ = L

                              12 = L

length is 12 cm

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

                              = 12 cm × 9 cm

                              = 108 cm²
