Answer: length=67m & width is 25m

Let the width of rectangle be b then,

l=3b-8. (By questions)

Therefore,area of rectangle is l×b

=( 3b-8)×b

=(3b^2-8b)

By question,

(3b^2-8b)=1675

or,3b^2-8b-1675=0

or,3b^2-75b+67b-1675=0

or,3b(b-25)+67(b-25)=0

or,(b-25)(3b+67)=0

or, b=25. Or b=-67/3

Since distance could not be negative or in fraction.

So the width of rectangle is 25m

And length is 3×25-8=75-8=67m
