There are several kinds of plants which secrete latex infact it is the Angiosperms category of plant kingdom which is mostly used in extraction of latex.
Latex is a natural polymer which has specific properties such as the property of elasticity and long chain forming. It is extracted from a plant by making a shallow cut in the bark of the tree and a collection unit is kept there, it is then synthesized and utilised for various purposes.
