Dear Sir,
I am the parent of Ms. Rakhi Pai from Std. 10 B. I am writing this letter in view of the growing stress and pressure that we are observing in children today. Children today are going through a lot of peer pressure because of education, changing society and other challenges. They need to be taught how to destress themselves and learn to stay calm and happy.
Hence I would like to suggest that the school should conduct yoga and meditation classes regularly in order to teach children to lead a happier life. I am a yoga instructor myself and I would like to offer my free services in the mornings if the school agrees for the same.
I request you to kindly give the matter an important thought and let me know about the same.

I write to your esteemed self to request to start Yoga classes in school. Benefits of Yoga for students are many; Yoga is panacea for all types of physical, mental, emotional, psychic, and psychological imbalances. A recent research has confirmed yoga’s therapeutic effects on all types of ailments.
In the famous documentary on mediation ‘Spiritual Reality: Journey Within’, many benefits of yoga have been enumerated upon. The documentary reveals how yoga replenishes and rejuvenates a yogi physically, mentally, and spiritually. In the state of perfect yoga one receives abundant cosmic energy, which heals, energizes, rejuvenates each and every cell, nerve, and organ of the physical, mental and spiritual body of a man. It cleanses the body of all the ills and toxins that might develop into some fatal ailments.
Yoga is particularly beneficial for students as enhances focus, concentration, and self-control. It can really enhance their academics as well as resilience. A student who does Yoga regularly will never face stress and go astray.
We must practice it for a healthy, happy and fulfilling life. It is a wonderful alternate healing therapy for any disease. I appeal to your good self to introduce Yoga in every class. I am hopeful you will ponder over my request favourably.
