The father loves his daughter and even after a long duration of 5 years believes that he will receive a letter from her.He visits the post office and waits in the hope of receiving the most awaited letter from his daughter.Yhe postmen insult him and make fun of him but none of this affects him.
Now when he is away from his daughter he understands the pain of separation and regrets killing animals and birds.He regrets hunting and understands how the animals must have felt after being separated from their loved ones.
