To Find :  the probability of obtaining

(a) the letter 'P' twice (b) the letter 'E' twice

Solution:

INDEPENDENT

Total Letters = 11

E = 3

P = 1

Probability of obtaining   the letter 'P' twice  = (1/11)(1/11)

= 1/121

Probability of obtaining   the letter 'E' twice  = (3/11)(3/11)

= 9/121
