The level of water in a measuring cylinder is at 18.6 ml. when stone is lowered in it carefully,
the new volume recorded is 27.4 ml. What is the volume of stone?

Level of water measuring cylinder = 18.6 ml

When stone is dipped inside it,

Level of water = 27.4 ml

Volume of stone = [27.4-18.6] ml

= 8.8 ml

= 8.8 cm³ or, 8.8 cc
