To find a point where the line lies on x-axis : use y=0

$3x-12=0$ ∴$x=4$

Therefore the intersection is $(4,0)$

To find a point where the line lies on y-axis : use x=0

$4y-12=0$ ∴$y=3$

Therefore the intersection is $(0,3)$
