solution :

Given 3x - 5y = 6

if above equation cuts X-axis at A

Let A ( x , 0 ) ,

Put y = 0 in given equation , we get

3x - 5 × 0 = 6

=> 3x = 6

=> x = 6/3

=> x = 2

Therefore ,

A( x , 0 ) = ( 2 , 0 )
