Answer:

according to this

the slope of first line joining (-5,7) and (0,-2)

is...m= {7-(-2)}/{-5-0}

m=-9/5

now the slope of second line joining (1,-3) and (4,x) is

n=x+3/4-1

n=x+3/3

now

both the lines are perpendicular

therefore

mn=-1

(-9/5)×(x+3/3)=-1

x+3/3=5/9

x+3=5/3

x=(5/3)-3

x=-4/3

hope it helps
