Step-by-step explanation:

The line p passes through the points (3,-2)& (12,4)

So slope of the line p=(4-(-2))/(12-3)=6/9=2/3

As the line q passes through the points (6,-2) and (12,2), so slope of the line q =(2+2)/(12-6)=4/6=2/3

As slope of both the lines are equal,so they are parallel.

So p is parallel to q.

hope you got it.
