the line segment joining A(2,3) and B(6,-5) is intersected by x- axis at a point K.write down the ordinate of the point K.hence, find the ratio in which K divides AB.also,find the coordinates of point K.

The line AB is intersected by X-axis, so the coordinates of the point of intersection would be (x,0) as the point lies on X-axis.

So the ratio in which X-axis divides AB is 3:5 and coordinates of K are (3.5,0)
