Given :  The linear equation 3x-11y=10

To Find : Number of solutions :

Unique solution

Two solutions

Infinitely many solutions

No solution

Solution:

A linear Equation in 2 Variables Always have infinite solutions

3x-11y=10

=> 3x = 11y

=> y = 3x/11

For any given value of x  , value of y can be find

x ∈ R

and y ∈ R

Hence infinite solutions

few solution

(0 , 0) , ( 11 , 3)  , ( 22 , 6) , ( 33  , 9)  , ( -11 , - 3) , ( -22 , -6)

Hence Infinitely many solutions is correct answer
