Given lines are: 5x−3y=2   (1)

and 2x+y=3   (2)

Multiply equation (2) with 3 and add with (1), we get

5x−3y+3(2x+y)=2+3(3)

⇒x=1

Now, put value of x=1 in (1), we get

5(1)−3y=2
