Answer:

When temperature is raised by 30 K then area of one face is  100.072 square cm and volume of cube is 1001.08 cube.

Explanation:

As we know that as we increase the temperature of the cube its linear dimension will increase as

L = L_o(1 + \alpha \Delta T)

so we will have

L_o = 10 cm

\alpha = 12 \times 10^{-6} /K

\Delta T = 30 K

Now we will have

L = 10(1 + (12 \times 10^{-6})30)

L = 10.0036 cm

Now are of one face of the cube is given as

A = L^2

A = (10.0036)^2

A = 100.072 cm^2

Volume of the cube is

V = L^3

V = (10.0036)^3

V = 1001.08 cm^3
