Given :         The linear functions f(x) and g(x) are represented on the graph, where g(x) is a transformation of f(x):

To Find : two types of transformations that can be used to transform f(x) to g(x).

Solution:

f(x) = x/5  + y/(-10) = 1

=> 2x  - y  =  10

g(x) = x/(-3) + y/6  = 1

=> 2x  -  y  = - 6

Transformations :

g(x)  = f(x)  +  16

g(x) = f(x + 8)
