\textbf{What is Magnification? }

It is the ratio of height of image of object to the height of object.

So, if magnification, it means that image of the object is inverted and real.

\textbf{Now, when magnification is 1?  }

Magnification will become 1 only if height of object = height of image.

Position of object will be at the centre of curvature, upright at 90°.
