Given:-

•Mass of the body(m)=2kg

•Linear momentum(p)=16 kg m/s

To find:-

•Kinetic energy of the body(K.E.)

Solution:-

We know that,relationship between kinetic energy and momentum/linear momentum is:-

=>K.E.=1/2mv²

=>1/2mv²×m/m

=>(mv)²/2m

=>p²/2m (Since,p=mv)

Here,m=2kg and p=16 kg m/s

=>K.E.=16×16/2×2

=>K.E.=256/4

=>K.E.=64J

Thus,kinetic energy of the body is 64J.
