 the minute hand moves 360 deg = 2 π radians in one hour
     so angular velocity = ω = 2 π / 3600    rad/sec

   linear speed = v = r ω
             π * 10⁻⁴  m/sec  =  r * 2 π /3600

   =>  r =  0.18  meters = 18 cm
