Once upon a time, a lion lived in a jungle and used to kíll many animals and beasts just for fún. As a result, many animals were suffering. So, the animals held a mèeting and ínvited the lion too. They discussed that they will send one beast to the lion everyday for his meal. The beasts and animals also requested the lion not to kill recklessly. The lion agreed. As decided in the meêting, one animal was sent to the lion's den for his meal. Eventually, it was the hare's turn to go to the lion's den. The hare kept thinking about a way to save his life from the lion. He thought of something and reached to the lion's den a little later than the decided time. The lion was furious because the hare came late. The hare made a pitiful face and told the lion that another lion had stopped it on the way. The lion angrily asked the hare about the whereabouts of the other lion. The hare agreed and took the lion near a well. The hare told the the lion that the other lion was in the well. The lion looked in the well and saw his own reflection due to the water present in the well. The foolish lion started warning and roaring towards his own reflection. The hare suggested that the lion should jump in the well in order to kíll the other lion. The lion agreed and jumped in the deep well and eventually, dîed.
