volume of cuboid =volume of cylinder
l*b*h=pie r square h
60*15*12=540*h

10800=540h
h=20cm

The height of the liquid in the cylinder is 20 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of cuboidal tin = 60 cm

Breadth of cuboidal tin = 15 cm

Height of cuboidal tin = 12 cm

Volume of tin =Length \times Breadth \times Height = 60 \times 15 \times 12 =10800 cm^3

Base of cylinder = \pi r^2 = 540 cm^2

Volume of cylinder =\pi r^2 h=540h

We are given that the liquid filled in a cuboid tin is poured into a cylinder

So, Volume of cylinder = Volume of tin

540h=10800

h=\frac{10800}{540}

h=20

Hence the height of the liquid in the cylinder is 20 cm
