The mixture is sold at 10% profit, which means that the selling price = cost price + 10% of cost price i.e., SP = 110% of cost price = 1.1*CP.
The mixture is sold (SP) at Rs.11. Therefore, the cost price of the mixture, CP = Rs.10
Let Rs.x be the cost of the first liquid. Therefore, cost of the second liquid = Rs.(x - 2).
The liquids are mixed in the ratio of 3 : 2
In 5 liters of the mixture, 3 liters will be first liquid and 2 liters will be the second liquid Therefore, cost of 5 liters of the mixture = 3x + 2(x 2) = 5 * (Cost of the 1 liter of the mixture) 3x+2x-4=50 or 5x = 54
Therefore, x = Rs.10.80 and x-2 = Rs.8.80
