Step-by-step explanation:

discount is always on list price

so discount amount = 20%of 220

= 20*220/100

= 4400/100

= 44 rupee

sale price= list price - discount

= 220 - 44

= 176 rupee

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that the cost price is ₹220.

A discount of 20% is offered.

NOTE- Discount is always given on cost price/ tag price.

So, first we need to take out the discount amount and then subtract it from the cost price.

Discount = 220×20/100

= 44

Therefore, there will be a discount of ₹44

Since, we know that discount is on cost price

Price of Frock = 220-44

= 176

So, after discount, the cost of Frock is ₹176

Hope it will help!
