Answer:
The poem starts off with the person strolling through the place he is speaking about. Then he takes the readers on a close up of something that caught his eye, which is the heart of the whole poem, daffodils. The speaker than takes you to any other day in his life and shows the significance of those daffodils, ending with the message of how powerful even a memory of nature can be. The three literary devices used was imagery, simile, and personification. Imagery was used when it said "Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the milky way, They stretched in never-ending line" this displayed imagery because you can clearly picture like the stars, thousands among thousands daffodils that the author is trying to make the reader see. It paints a picture in your mind how much and how beautiful the daffodils are on the field. Another literary device used is simile. When the author said "I wandered lonely as a cloud" he was comparing himself to how he was almost freely walking in a sense. With no one with him, but still just moving along. This metaphor also conveyed how at peace he feels when he was strolling along this place. Lastly, personification was used when the author said "Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.". This quote shows the reader how the daffodils move swiftly and gracefully in the wind and makes the reader picture the daffodils as something even more beautiful.
